Hello,

I am the maintainer for the above mentioned package. I (and the
software upstream) would like it to be available for Wheezy users as
well.

Quick package summary: Hexchat is a graphical IRC client and currently
the only active fork of X-Chat 2, which has been abandoned since 2010.
It comprises 2 packages: hexchat and hexchat-common.

The .dsc, pbuilder-built debs and other relevant files for the
backport are at http://drubo.net/files/hexchat-bpo/
