Sorry, but I don't understand your question!Obviously, I can't remember exactly how I installed that package, but, as I've said,normally I install with
aptitude install gawk or (if I mean to use the backports) aptitude install -t squeeze-backports gawk However, it is certain that **I have**not compiled by me** that package. Ciao Domenico
