Hello all,
I'd like to report a possible bug in GnuCash v. 2.4.4 (found in the Squeeze backports repo). My system was on GMT (London) time. I recently switched it to U.S. MDT (United States/Denver). After that, all of the transactions I had in GnuCash switched to one day earlier. Before the time zone switch, the earliest transactions I had loaded in GnuCash were for 1 JAN 12 (I have just recently started using the program). All of the 1 JAN 12 transactions switched to 31 DEC 11 dates. And, like I stated earlier, all of the other transactions I had entered moved to a day earlier. I even had several transactions entered against future dates (for depreciable assets)....all of these transactions also moved to a day earlier. I believe that, after a transaction is given a date, that date should stick across time zone changes. I will be happy to provide any additional information. Digger |
