Dear Alexander, > if you really want to maintain the backport within bpo you should > really know > your toolchain. Sure, you are right. But I am quite disappointed by the simple autobuild line on the rules: dh_auto_configure -- $(EXTRA_CONFIGURE_ARGS) --with-systemdsystemunitdir=/lib/systemd/system $(shell dpkg-buildflags --export=configure) Build-depends is: Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7.0.50~), flex, autotools-dev, libudev-dev [linux-any], libusb2-dev [kfreebsd-any], pkg-config Do you think I should simply chroot to a pure squeeze chroot and find the missing dependency using apt-get build-dep? Is that what you mean? What if I change the build dependencies to take into account Squeeze backports of debhelper? Is this enough to compile on your farm? I guess not, but I am asking just in case. > No, nothing in result/ is taking into account. Thanks. Sounds normal as this is a chroot. Kind regards, -- Jean-Michel Pouré - Gooze - http://www.gooze.eu
