Cannot boot with raid1 and lvm since 3.2.0.0-bpo.1 and initrd 0.99~bpo60+1
Hello!
Since Kernel 3.2.4 (linux-image-3.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64) and the
connected update of initramfs-tools to 0.99~bpo60+1 the initrd
is unable to mount the root filesystem.
I have to manually enter the following commands at the busybox
prompt:
lvm pvscan
lvm vgscan
lvm lvscan
lvm lvchange -a y /dev/vg00
exec /scripts/local
The issue is independend from the kernel version, since it also
happens if i want to try the 2.6.32-bpo-5 image (that initrd got
updated, too).
Unfortunately, i don't know how to fix the issue and get lvm to
work automatically again and downgrading initramfs does also
remove the new kernel.
Regards,
Peter
