Oh, sorry, I didn't know. We have maintained our own copy of prevu at work for almost two years, and at some point, I ported it to Debian for my personal use. I haven't looked at the upstream package since then.
All the action, these days, is done with backportpackage and request-backport in ubuntu-dev-tools (which is in Debian). They are, obviously, aimed at Ubuntu backports policy and workflows, which are different to Debian, but we'd welcome patches to generalise them.
