Perhaps Paul did not like his first-time user experience with pbuilder (as I did). Or he is low on space for test bed/sandbox? Dear Paul, sometimes I still feel "adventourous"? I download some sources, compile and install them on my personal "production" system. But: It is very likely that at some point you will seriously damage your system.At least I did manage to do so. I tried to "backport" parts of the tool chain
by recompiling and installing them and got lost in the dependencies ... Martin
