Hi.As the version 1.8.2 was released mid june, I worked on a backport of MongoDB 1.8.2.
It builds cleanly without modification of the source package.The source package is available on mentors : http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/m/mongodb/mongodb_1.8.2-1~bpo60+1.dsc
If it's useful to have mongodb on backports, maybe a DD could sponsor it and upload it ?
