I am resending this as I have accidently emailed to Julien directly instead of to the list.
That is perhaps the case, but iceweasel did not output any errors to ~/.xsession_errors.
With Chrome, it would display a "this plugin has crashed" error with the associated entries
in ~/.xsession_errors. In Iceweasel, it would crash the entire browser upon trying to
full-screen a video. This had no ~/.xsession_errors output.
Installation of the libgtk2.0 fixed flash for me in both browsers.
