Bug in varnish 2.0.4 + New version of varnish in sid

Hi all,

We use the debian backported version of varnish in our servers, and we are experiencing troubles with the current version 2.0.4-5~bpo50+1 i think that it's related to this bug:

Acctually the bug is solved and there is a patch in 
http://varnish-cache.org/changeset/4520

But there is a new version of varnish in sid and squeeze (2.1 Branch) see:
http://packages.debian.org/sid/varnish

Is possible patch the source or backport that new version?
