It's quilt (>= 0.46-7~)

Lintian told me just now, when I was converting nsd3 to dh+quilt :).

AFAIK you don't need that.

> and add to the the dh call a "--with quilt" and you are done.

And if the package uses overrides, you need to have:

# Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7.0.50~),

(Lintian will tell you as well...)
