By adding post-etch backports to sarge-backports, you are (by your own
admission) creating a server that will be very hard to upgrade to Etch.
That may be acceptable to some, but it isn't to me, and I would be
surprised if I were in the minority. I've been a big user and advocate of
bpo in the past, but in the light of this discussion I would have to
append to the above, "...and seriously consider whether you want to use
etch-backports in future".

I would urge you (the bpo team) to reconsider the addition of post-etch
packages to sarge-backports.
