I'm using the backport of mysql-server-5.0 and like two weeks ago i learned that there's a new version, but i can't upgrade: # apt-get dist-upgrade Reading Package Lists... Done The following packages have been kept back: mysql-server-5.0 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded. # dpkg -l mysql-server-5.0 [...] ii mysql-server-5 5.0.24-1~bpo.1 mysql database server binaries # apt-cache show mysql-server-5.0 [...] Package: mysql-server-5.0 [...] Source: mysql-dfsg-5.0 Version: 5.0.24a-5~bpo.1 Replaces: mysql-server (<< 5.0.24a-5~bpo.1), mysql-server-4.1 [... and a second source ...] Package: mysql-server-5.0 [...] Source: mysql-dfsg-5.0 Version: 5.0.24-1~bpo.1 Replaces: mysql-server (<< 5.0.24-1~bpo.1), mysql-server-4.1 Are there two different versions of the package in the repository?
