Re: Any interest on enlightenment E17 port for sarge?

As you can see, You woke up the list!!!
please don't forget us, the enlightenment-needy people (I switch between e and ude, which I STRONGLY recommend), and let us know when you've got your public rep ready.

The proper way would be to found an enlightenment team on alioth and
provide snapshot packages there.

Thank you for your interest and your answers. I agree to not put those
packages on any official server.

For myself i made it as a learning excurs on packaging and there i have
almost a lot of difficulty in this process. At the moment i am only be
able to build binary debs, not the source packages.

For example, at the moment it's necessary to deinstall the sarge package
and put my package of enlightenment and enlightenment-data on hold cause
i'm not sure how to handle the version numbering from cvs and the
identity of filenames and dirnames from Stable (e16) and those from my
"back"port.

You see, it's almost not perfect ;-)

But while there is still lot of interest to test the upcoming e17
release i will find a place to put the binarys for public access.

Greetings
	Gerhard
