calcepth-update (help needed)

Hi Thorsten,

I've updated calceph on salsa to the latest upstream release (4.0.3).

The new upstream has added man pages (based on my request), which I hace added to the package.

However, the salsa reprotest pipeline fails, but I'm not sure why based on the logs. Maybe you can help sort it out.

Thanks in advance,

-- Attila.

I finally resolved it. The library version was missing inside the symbols file. Now both lintian and piuparts are happy. I'm happy too. :-)

this is great :-).

I am almost happy as well. I have no idea what the python message means, so yes, I guess this can be ignored. I had the impression that you are involved with upstream, but as you are not, the man pages can be left alone.

Though the examples are important, lintian now complains:
 I: libcalceph-dev: arch-dep-package-has-big-usr-share 4330kB 99%
Maybe you can replace the data files with some README, where you explain that they are to big and can be found in upstreams repository at URL-xxx.

The comment for the source-is-missing-override is not quite correct. Even if the binary file is only distributed in the source package, it must be availabe as source (please have a look at the reject-FAQ[1] section "Source package missing source") Today I learned that mex files are indeed created by mkoctfile from some c-file. mkoctfile is available in liboctave-dev, so everything (except the comment) is fine.
