Hi Maria,I like your proposed logo very much! Could you try out if it looks better with Thibauts suggestion? Otherwise we would probably just use it :-)
Could you also specify the license? I think the best would be the same as for the Debian Logo itself, which is alternatively LGPL-3 or CC BY-SA 3.0 [1].
