I tried latest kernels on LS-WTGL (orion5x with 64M memory).
The box is installed with Jessie, so I tested the following kernels:
- jessie-backports: linux-image-4.3.0-0.bpo.1-orion5x (4.3.3-2~bpo8+1)
   => boot OK
- sid: linux-image-4.3.0-1-orion5x (4.3.3-5)    => boot OK
- experimental: linux-image-4.4.0-rc8-orion5x (4.4~rc8-1~exp1)    =>
serial console shows the box restarted a few steps after decompress
initramfs

Both 3 kernels were tested by both ZIP and XZ initramfs
Result by ZIP and XZ are the same.

For the failure of kernel 4.4, I think it's related to Bug#809476.
The patch inside Bug#809476 is only for QNAP box, however I didn't
figure out how to fix for LS-WTGL.

Cheers,
Roger
