Hm, I am a bit indecisive about what to do in this case. Currently,
there are only tarballs up to wheezy but none for Jessie, and I have
no idea whether the increased memory and storage requirements of the
Jessie userland still allow Jessie to run sensibly on the nslu2.
Martin, are you going to provide a Jessie tarball and update
your instructions accordingly?
If yes, I would add something along the lines of "Due to memory
limitations, the debian-installer cannot be used on IXP4xx-based
systems. It is possible to run Debian/armel on this platform, but
the installation has to be done manually. For further information,
please refer to http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/unpack/.
Has anybody tested whether a dist-upgrade from Wheezy to Jessie
works on the nslu2?
