PCIe is a bus that uses transactions.  I am not sure you could use it
for plain ram the way you could with the ISA bus given that was simply
a localbus to the system.  I suppose it might be posible though given
you are supposed to be able to have PCI/PCIe devices memory mapped.
Perhaps because PCs have lots of ram, and PCI was limited in general
to 32bit addressing, it was never a feasible or worthwhile way to add
memory to a system.
