Yes. We've been investigating this for the last week or so. It boils
down to multicore threading memory barrier issues, and works on one not
the other due to differences in Icache coherency between APM core and A57
core. It is (hopefully) fixed in 7u65-2.5.2-4 which is building now:

I've updated the bug (#761604) with various relevant mails so the
history is not lost (and because we might find other similar issues)
(One day I might train the (excellent) people involved to CC: the BTS
themselves :-)
