Yes after appending the Sheevaplug DTB, I got this kernel to boot.

 3.14-0.bpo.1-kirkwood #1 Debian 3.14.7-1~bpo70+1 (2014-06-21)

The version of U-boot on the Trim Slice expicitly states in its help that
the 3rd argument to 'bootm' is the location of the FDT blob, but this
isn't there in the Sheeva version - so I assume there isn't any support
for FDT in the Sheeva U-Boot, or at least it's not been compiled in.

Thanks - at least I can get the Sheeva booting now :-)
