btw - about SATAs - you've seen this, right?

 at work we had SEVERE problems with OCZ's 32gbyte SSDs.  like... a
30% failure rate.  30%!!! strangely, the first batch OCZ drives - no
problems.  and those drives which _stay_ working, stay working.


 also, if you truly don't need even 32gbyte (or 64gbyte which is
becoming the standard now), and you have a *reliable* power source,
then consider these:

it's not stunning peformance but if you don't need stunning
performance, and 8gbyte is ample, why pay even £60+ for something
you're never going to use?
