 *splutter* that's incredibly funny.  i needed a laugh.  i hope you
won't take offense, mick :)

 anyway.  yes, really 170wpm, peak.  i _can_ keep up with real-time
conversations if necessary for about an hour, but not at 100% accuracy
because it's done not looking at the keyboard but at the people
speaking.  hurts like hell though, too :)  "accurate" text i can do
about 2500 words per hour, technical writing, including reviews _and_
capital letters, you'll be pleased to hear [wrote the "pyjamas book" -
10,000 words - in a week, part-time].  but to do that i have to know
the subject well, like bram cohen when he planned bittorrent in his
head for months and then wrote it all down.  electrical memory of
brain, not chemical memory, and all that.
