 sadly the recommended tool (ikconfig script?) didn't work, i couldn't
tell you why.

 adam's now asked the factory for the linux kernel source, it's just
paaainful to be ... aggh, no ext3 module? segfaults due to binary
modules having same name as modules already compiled-in?  old kernel
modules still lying around? *shudder* :)

 fingers crossed, they'll "get" the message...
