installing linux-image-2.6.32-trunk-kirkwood_2.6.32-5_armel.deb  
solved the problem. (the backport linux-image-2.6.30-bpo.1- 
kirkwood_2.6.30-6~bpo50+1_armel.deb does not include the patch)
