In my experience (on one of the 'unofficial' armeb buildds), swapping over nbd isn't reliable, and can easily deadlock the kernel. This is a known kernel issue, some patches for it have been submitted recently but there's still some disagreement on whether this is something that really needs fixing or not. cheers, Lennert
