I can test this. last time I tested it (sarge), the problem was 
a) lack of instructions what to do in bootloader b) framebuffer getting
messed up.

(not to forget IOP, PXA, and omap, and the dozen of others) I think
we should try to find devices that are widely available at affordable
prices, rather than developer board style devices (unless ofcourse the 
vendor wants to help or fund getting their thing supported..). 

However, the only d-i needing device that particularry comes to my
mind is the peplink.
