first of all, which chroot? stable/unstable?

furthermore it's arch-ebsa285 for netwinders (at least that's
what the kernel makefile creates).

ah, I assume you used the base system because the links
aren't correctly set there. anyhow, the yare correct for the
stable/unstable chroot.
