dbootstrap segmentation faults

I've been trying to install Debian on my RISC PC following the
instructions and using the downloads from Peter Naulls' page at
http://www.chocky.org/debian/DebianBF.html

Everything boots fine, dbootstrap is started. After hitting enter from
the first dialogue box, the next dialogue is displayed briefly, and the
whole thing scrolls up off the screen whereupon I'm presented with the
first dialogue again.

Running /sbin/dbootstrap from the second console shows that this is caused
by a segmentation fault. A quick Google over the list archives didn't
bring anything useful up.

I'm running a RISC PC 700 (ARM 710a), with 16+1Mb.

Any thoughts welcome.

Cheers,

Jon
