I don't know. I recall looking at the Unix98 PTY stuff at one point, but I'd
have to go look to see whether we've put anything in makedev for it yet.
Just got through my first dselect/apt run with my mirror added to your
transitional stuff, and it worked fine. Now have automake/autoconf/etc and
will see if I can get the rest of my packages built this afternoon.
