CDC-NCM is running in iOS, apparently.network to connect apple devicesFor exemple https://www.synacktiv.com/publications/ios-a-journey-in-the- usb-networking-stackThis is well known, but it requires the disk to be accessible locally from the machine.and/or https://github.com/sgan81/apfs-fuse
Mounting the reverse tethering + ssh = sshfs so I could try apfs-use
Very hard to tell what's going on, if anything, from the information I have. But what intrigues me is that both OS's don't have the same behavior.
