Bug#695587: apache2.2-common: apache2ctl fullstatus drops .elinks / .links2 dotfiles in current dir

Package: apache2.2-common

Running "apache2ctl fullstatus" drops a directory ".links2" in the 
current working directory. I assume this happens because apache2ctl 
runs /etc/apache2/envvars which unsets HOME, which then causes the 
www-browser to create preference files in the current directory. 

(On another machine, the same script appears to drop ".elinks" directories into the current directory; it has probably a different setting for the www-browser alternative)
