Try "sudo apt-get install apache2", you have to run apt-get with root privileges.

I’m new to Debian and when I do an apt-get install apache2, I get lots of errors 404 not found and of course I don’t get an http server.

 

Could you tell me what other package I should take, and/or where to look at all the package on the web so I can take another one and/or when apache2 will be available.
