Hi.

Currently the last LogFormat in apache2.conf is (per default):
LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent

For the TransferLog directive, the most recent LogFormat directive
specifies the format.

So may I suggest, to put the combined definition last (which is also
what would have been hardcoded).

Cheers,
Chris.

Sorry. This only applies to LogFormat directives NOT defining a
nickname.

So per default now, CLF (as in the Apache definition) should be used for
TransferLog directives.

Therefore closing.

Cheers,
Chris.
