Bug#588787: [apache2-prefork-dev] apxs2 generated Makefile fails to make install
Package: apache2-prefork-dev
Version: 2.2.15-5
Severity: normal
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
When building and installing a module generated with apxs2 the process fails with error:
/bin/bash: line 1: /build/instdso.sh: No such file or directory
The reason this happens is because "prefix" variable is not set to the appropriate value in:
/usr/share/apache2/build/config_vars.mk
The suggested fix is to modify /usr/share/apache2/build/config_vars.mk and set:
prefix = /usr/share/apache2
Commands to reproduce the problem:
apxs2 -n foo -g
cd foo
make install
