This is weird. I can reproduce this bug by hitting my browsers "Stop"
button when the site is not completely loaded yet. Every request
aborted in that manner is logged in access log with a size of 12080:

2001:6f8:1210:0:21f:d0ff:fe2e:d849 - - [21/Jul/2009:21:13:32 +0200]
"GET /serendipity.css HTTP/1.1" 500 12080 "http://...

As to your original question: I really don't know. I didn't get any
complaints from my users so far.
