libmysqlclient15-dev 5.1.26rc-1 is a transition package that just 
depends on libmysqlclient-dev. But libmysqlclient-dev 5.1.26rc-1 is 
missing libmysqlclient_r.la for libtool.

I am not sure if this alone would help, since apr-util 1.2.12 is 
linked with libmysqlclient_r.so.15 and mysql 5.1 has .16. But I am 
pretty sure that it will work with apr-util 1.3.x, which no longer 
has the mysql dependency in its own .la file.
