Package: apache2-common
Version: 2.0.55-4.1
Severity: normal

Can't upgrade to apache2.2

Stopping apache 2.0 web server... failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript apache2, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: error processing apache2-common (--remove):
 subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:

vader:~# /etc/init.d/apache2  start
Starting apache 2.0 web server...Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php4.load:
API module structure `php4_module' in file /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp4.so is garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO?

I had to edit apache2-common.prerm by hand and change:
invoke-rc.d apache2 stop || exit $?
invoke-rc.d apache2 stop
