Package: apache2-mpm-prefork
Version: 2.0.50-9
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Greeting,
I found my apache2 server unable to work properly this morning.
The log shows that it couldn't accept any connection and brought
	down the process.

	Here is the log:
	[Tue Aug 17 12:06:37 2004] [notice] Apache/2.0.50 (Debian GNU/Linux)
PHP/4.3.8-5 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Tue Aug 17 12:07:40 2004] [notice] child pid 24048 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:07:40 2004] [notice] child pid 24049 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:07:40 2004] [notice] child pid 24050 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:07:40 2004] [notice] child pid 24051 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:10:19 2004] [notice] child pid 24052 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:10:19 2004] [notice] child pid 24059 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Aug 17 12:10:19 2004] [notice] child pid 24060 exit signal
	Segmentation fault (11)

During connection, the browser responses "No such file or directory"
	or "Zero Sized Reply".

I assume this is internal error comes from apache2 itself.

Best Regards
Tim Tsai

These bugs were fixed in NMUs by me which are, apparently, no longer
considered NMUs because I'm now part of the apache2 maintenance team.
