Bug#268252: apache2: please provide mpm_metux

Package: apache2
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice if Apache 2 in Debian (most likely in etch, I
understand that you don't want to do this in sarge :-) ) could include
the Metux MPM, which is a further developed perchild MPM (ie.
considerably less broken, although still far from stable). I've verified
that integrating Metux in Debian's Apache packages is near-trivial (drop
the diff into the patch directory, change a few paths in the diff,
add metuxmpm to the MPM list in debian/rules, build the package) and
newer versions of the patch are almost completely non-intrusive (there
is one change in the APR; the rest goes into a separate directory which
is only used for the Metux building).

metuxmpm's homepage is http://www.metux.de/mpm/, unofficial homepage
(with download link) at http://www.sannes.org/metuxmpm/.
