no apache2 binary in /usr/sbin/

Package: apache2-common
Version: 2.0.49-1

I basically downloaded the apache2-common package via
apt-get today 7/22/2004. The package downloaded and
installed without error. I configured httpd.conf and
went to start apache2. Wouldn't start. started digging
and found that there is no binary apache2 in /usr/sbin
which the control script /usr/sbin/apache2ctl calls.
In fact I looked through the entire system and found
no binary. I am running sarge testing on i386.

/usr/sbin/apache2ctl: line 97: /usr/sbin/apache2: No
such file or directory
/usr/sbin/apache2ctl: line 97: /usr/sbin/apache2: No
such file or directory
/usr/sbin/apache2ctl: line 97: /usr/sbin/apache2: No
such file or directory
