Bug#260126: apache2-mpm-prefork: fails to serve web pages after upgrade
Package: apache2-mpm-prefork
Version: 2.0.50-5
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
After I upgraded to 2.0.50-5, apache fails to serve web pages. it start
normally, but fails to serve any content. By requesting a webpage with:
telnet localhost 80
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost
I get only "Connection closed by foreign host". I end up with this in
apache's error log:
[Sun Jul 18 19:05:52 2004] [notice] child pid 3029 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
Modules used on this computer are mainly ssl, cgi, includes and php4.
