Package: debian-policy
Version: 3.6.1.1
Severity: wishlist

There are several packages that all have similar functionality, namely
apache, apache-ssl, and apache-perl (there may be others as well). All
of them have the core apache functionality (with respect to config
files (but with different locations), modules, APIs, etc. This way, any
other package that for instance implements a module for apache would
work with each of the other apache servers.

"Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon
the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those
conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse
to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince
himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep
he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception." -- Mark Twain
