Bug#243866: apache: postinst fails with /var/www being dangling symlink
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.29.0.2-4
Severity: important
Hi,
in a specially configured web server we use /var/www as symlink to an
automounted directory. When the automounter is not running /var/www is
a dangling symlink which matches the expression [ ! -d /var/www ] in
/usr/share/apache/postinst.common and the postinst therefore tries to
mkdir that directory which fails.
