I find strange that you were not prompt by debconf to set a ServerName
(it has been there since 1.3.28).

The reason why it gets added is because it avoids some problems
(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/core.html#servername) but it doesn't do
that automatically until you did set debconf to NOT ask any question
(that i highly unsuggest when running servers).

Can you please tell me to which priority level did you set debconf?

Thanks
Fabio
