Bug#113067: 'bad record mac' + SessionCache + libmm
Hi,
I, too, am having significant problems with 'bad record mac' errors from
libapache-mod-ssl. You suggest in 196004 that SessionCaches that use
the dbm mechanism are not reliable.
Could you, therefore, reconsider the enabling of the --with-mm
configuration option? I realize that several packages need to be
modified (notably, apache) and that some unvetted patches would need to
be used: http://pflanze.mine.nu/~chris/debian/apache/
Not having an interprocess ssl cache is not acceptable from a
performance perspective. I kindly request that you re-evaluate
compiling in support for the mm mechanism and/or attempt to determine
why the dbm mechanism is not reliable.
If I can be of assistance, please let me know.
Yours,
Luca
