Bug#220360: apache2-mpm-worker: Couldn't create accept lock
Package: apache2-mpm-worker
Version: 2.0.48-1
Severity: grave
Tags: sid
Justification: renders package unusable
Greeting,
Today I upgraded Apache2 and found that apache2 couldn't run
anymore.
There are some errors such as "mod_rewrite: could not create
rewrite_log_lock" or "Cannot create SSLMutex".
Then I purged all my configuration, reinstall again and
found this error message:
[Wed Nov 12 14:24:01 2003] [emerg] (38)Function not implemented:
Couldn't create accept lock
The google doesn't provide any information about error no.38 and
also I had checked the permission of /var/lock/apache2 which is
correct.
I have no clue why the problem suddenly happens. :-(
Cheers
Tim
