Bug#177900: Still present

Hi!

I posted about this to the axkit-users mailing list, and it turns out
that I'm not alone. There are a few others (apparently most Debian
users) have been bitten by this bug.

However, the advice the gurus there give, is to use mod_perl as a DSO
with the pure apache-package. They've done some testing, and the gain
by using statically linked mod_perl with AxKit has been very little,
and depending on the setup, it could be none.

I will! I'll just do some more testing on it on my side first, but since
there are again more pressing issues coming up, it'll take me a few
days.

OK, well, I think it might be better to change the severity to minor,
and leave it there....? Since I'm not the only one, it is not unlikely
that it will jump up and bite others, so unless we can pin-point
exactly what is happening, perhaps it is better to leave it open untill
the problem is grokked?

Best,
