nope, that patch changes a tiny amount of configuration and doesn't touch
the code. You've not shown me even close to enough detail, nor have you
included many useful facts:
Define doesn't work.
Tell me what modules you have loaded.
Tell me what the server is, which scripts are running, what the load is like

This is entirely consistent with you starting and immediately stopping the
server.

Without knowing the times of when you performed the start and stop
operations, the log is 100% useless.
Please try and write a meaningful problem report with useful data. Until
then I can't help.
