Hi there,
I know this bug is a couple of years old, but we're working to triage the
bug queue for apache currently, and I'd like to clear up the status of this
one.
It looks to me as though the config snippet you posted wouldn't do what you
were expecting anyway - see
http://www.apache-ssl.org/docs.html#SSLFakeBasicAuth for a full config.
(esp Require valid-user)
Can you confirm whether:
1) you're still seeing the problem
2) the info at the apache-ssl site fixes the problem
